Prisoners are chained to stay in place in a cave. Their necks are fastened, they can only stare at the cave wall in front of them. Behind them is a fireplace, between the fireplace and the wall in front of the prisoners is a catwalk with a low wall the place individuals walk with completely different objects. The people don’t cast shadows on the cave wall due to the low wall, solely the objects do. The prisoners can only see the shadows on the wall. The sound of these individuals echo off the wall, making the prisoners consider that the sounds they hear come from the wall.
