KCET 2018 Exam
The KCET is a state-level entrance exam which is organized by the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) every year for the candidates who wish to enroll themselves in the different B.Tech. courses of the leading engineering colleges in the state of Karnataka. By clearing the KCET exam, the candidates get access to pursuing their respective B.tech courses in around 220 government institutes, private aided as well as unaided colleges & universities in the state of Karnataka. The KCET 2018 is going to be conducted on 18th & 19th of April, 2018. The application form for the KCET 2018 will be made available to the candidates from 1st to 26th of February. The results for the KCET 2018 will be most likely declared by the end of May 2018.
KCET 2018 Exam Pattern & Marks Distribution
The KCET 2018 exam will consist of total 180 marks which are distributed across three different sections of 60 marks each. The KCET 2018 exam is divided into three sections of subjects including Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.

- Number of Papers: The KCET 2018 will consist of two major papers which are required to be cleared by the candidates in two consecutive days. On 18th April, 2018, the exam papers of Mathematics and Biology will be held. On 19th April, 2018, the papers for Physics and Chemistry will be held.
- Mode of Language: The candidates are required to sit for the KCET 2018 exam in either English or Kannada language.
- Marking Scheme: The candidates will receive 1 mark for each correct answer. There is no negative marking in the KCET 2018 exam.
